ANDREW Chorley of Hervey Bay Fly and Sportfishing has done it again – that is, put another client onto a fish that he won’t forget in a hurry.
The fish in question is the solid giant trevally being held hereabouts by Matt Stevenson of Toowoomba. Apparently, Matt hooked the beast on a soft plastic lure and light spin gear – the sort you’d more typically use for snapper: 20lb Finns braid, 4000 Daiwa Sol reel, Catalina 20lb spin stick.
Fight time was one hour and the big GT was successfully released after a photo or two.
