RISE – Fly Fishing Film Festival 2011

THE annual RISE Fly Fishing Film Festival is hitting big screens around Australia this month.

The premier fishing film event that visits nine countries and two continents, kicks off on the Queensland Sunshine Coast and screens at over 28 venues  over the ensuing three months in Australia and New Zealand.

RISE – Fly Fishing Film Festival 2011 features the very best fly fishing films from global destinations including New Zealand, Norway, Africa and Canada. Gin-Clear Media’s HATCH is the feature movie of the festival. HATCH is the first film in a three-part series, which highlights the world’s best hatches in a head spinning tour of the globe. Judging by the teaser of the movie which was shot on a RED One camera, the quality has gone up anotyher level again (if possible). See a trailer of HATCH below.
