THE Rosehill Trailer Boat Show makes its much-anticipated return to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on April 6 and 7, 2019, between 10 am and 5 pm, and features more than 30 exhibitors with over 250 boats on display at the free-to-enter event. And there’s free parking included.
Trailer boating is increasing in popularity due to continued advances in trailer technology and access to existing and newly developed boat ramps across the state’s waterways. The variety of trailer boats now available, along with the choice of engine types, makes trailer boat ownership more attractive and more convenient than ever before. Visiting the Rosehill Trailer Boat Show is easy too, with plenty of free parking, easy access, free admission and trains to Rosehill station adjacent to the show’s entrance.
Alan Blake, President of the Boating Industry Association Ltd staging the event, says trailer boats remain the most popular class of motorised boating in Australia.
Along with the giant tank, NSW Roads and Maritime Services are also at the show, presenting their ‘Lifejacket Self-Service Clinics’. The clinics are designed to instruct boaters on how to carry out a simple pre-wear check before use, and how to service their own inflatable lifejackets. Inflatable lifejackets are easy to wear, comfortable and affordable but they require extra care and attention to ensure they will inflate in an emergency. It’s a legal requirement in NSW to service inflatable lifejackets every year or in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions, so RMS staff will be on hand to provide guidance and information on the best way to keep lifejackets in top condition.
This Trailer Boat Show is the longest running boat show in the state, with plenty of nostalgia mixed in with the latest boat and fishing technology. It’s a welcome return to Rosehill Gardens, especially with the free admission, free parking and a location accessible to so many fishing enthusiasts.
