ARE you looking for something a bit different to do with the kids these school holidays?
Come and join the fishy fun at the Victorian Fisheries Authority’s (VFA) Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre (MFDC) in Queenscliff.
Kicking off at 10 am on Monday, April 8, and running all the way through until Thursday April 18, the MFDC will be opening its doors to the public.
The VFA will be be hosting a range of FREE and paid activities that’ll be sure to lure you in!
Below is just a snippet of the events we’ll be running:
- Rockpool ramble
- Ocean art
- Fishy story time
- Family fishing trips
- Marine biology cruises
- Shore snorkel
PLUS, the MFDC will be open to the public every day, where their staff will be teaching the values of caring for marine life and how research helps our fisheries become even better!
