In 2006, Patrick Sebile started a fishing lure company that has since sold over 4 million lures worldwide.
Sebile lures feature many innovative designs and as a result have won many awards. In 2008 and early 2009, Sebile won several “Best Lure” honours, including Europe’s biggest tackle show, EFTTEX, “best lure” award for the Stick Shadd blood red series. At EFTTEX 2009, Sebile made history with three 2nd Place finishes for a single company: Flatt Shad Snagless – Best Hard Bait; Stick Shadd Hollow – Best Soft Plastic; and Spin Shad – Best Metal Bait.
Since that time Sebile lures have won many more awards at prestigous tackle shows.
The Sebile company claims over 600 fish species have been caught on its on lures. The Sebile range looks rather different at first glance; every lure in the Sebile range has been designed to catch fish, and designed for a specific purpose.
There is a lure in the massive range for every type of Australian fishing application. From tiny bream and trout lures to barra lures and cod lures, all the way up to heavy duty saltwater applications with huge poppers, stickbaits and deep diving minnows. The range comprises hard and soft baits, surface, subsurface and very deep diving lures, as well as the high speed Bonga Jerk, which can be trolled at up to 20kn.
