MORE and more females are joining the ever growing population of anglers in Australia, and it’s awesome to see! Nowadays, almost every fishing video, magazine, website or blog features something by female anglers, photographers, writers or presenters and it brings a refreshing change to this once male-dominated sport and past time.
One angler in particular, Chloe Taylor, who is based on the NSW East Coast, is one of these women who is showing her male counterparts how it’s done. Catching big kingfish, snapper, jewfish and even marlin are just a few of the many species which Chloe has been able to add to an ever growing list of angling achievements over the past few years, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing any time soon.
Chloe appeared on the cover of Fishing World’s December issue and has been filming her fishing experiences for others to see. She’s a great ambassador for the sport and one hell of an angler as you will see by watching some of her latest uploads to a YouTube Channel, which is aptly named “She Fishes“.
An active member of the Botany Bay Game Fishing Club, Chloe has won a number of awards for landing some big fish, including Highest Point Scoring Angler, Champion Lady Capture and Heaviest Capture by a lady to name a few. Need I say more?
Keep up the great work Chloe we hope to see you gracing the pages of future issues of Fisho!
We hope more females jump in and have a go at this great Australian activity, as well as kids and families alike.
