VRFISH are partnering with the Australian Trout Foundation Inc, local landholders and the Goulburn Broken CMA to help restore riparian habitat on the Steavenson River at Marysville, Victoria, as part of the ‘Angler Riparian Partnerships Program’.

There will be a tree planting day on May 5, 2018. Works being undertaken include stock management fencing, installation of off-stream stock watering points, revegetation, bank stabilization and weed management. Recreational anglers know that healthy riparian land is the key to creating healthy waterways, and healthy fisheries. All are encouraged to attend.  There will be a barbeque lunch for all in attendance as well as a free fly casting lesson afterwards.
