THE NSW Department of Primary Industries reports that the 2012/2013 game fishing season that ended on June 30 2013, resulted in over 10,000 fish tagged and 94 fish recaptured.
Tagged numbers reveal it was a particularly good season for black marlin (the most tagged since 1998-1999) with the majority of fish being juveniles tagged between Townsville in Queensland to Port Stephens in New South Wales.
