FISHO’S recent interview with fly fisher and lead guitarist for heavy rockers Baroness, Pete Adams (right), was well received by metal music loving fishos. Some great entries were also emailed in by readers keen to win the band’s latest double CD, Yellow & Green, of which we had five copies to give away courtesy of Riot Entertainment, Relapse Records and Warner Music Australia.
Here are the five lucky winners of this great new album who told us why they’d like to win (in 25 words or less):
I’d love a copy of Yellow and Green so I can experience Baroness’ transition from swamp-dwelling sludge metal to sublime Zeppelin/Floyd inspired rock.

I want to win Baroness’ new album so I can blast it at full volume while I’m fishing for Barramundi in the Murray River. Thanks!
Sam Dwyer
Patience is a fisherman’s virtue, but after 3 years since the Blue Record I’d love to hook this beauty! P.S. If that’s not a good enough reason I’d love to win it so I can kiss it Rex Hunt style) Yibbida yibbida!
Erik de Vries
I want to win because I have a strange skin pigmentation disorder and I am actually yellow and green and it will comfort me.
Matthew Pirera
I ‘d love to win the lastest Baroness album ’cause they are a ripping band and I don’t have it yet. They are awesome live!
P.S. That was a top interview. Better than your standard band interviews. 9/10
Matthew Kearney
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all who entered. Rock on!
