MARINE Rescue NSW Central Coast is in distress and well out-of-pocket following the theft of the prize in its annual boat raffle last Thursday night, October 24.
The prize boat was on display at the Kincumber Shopping Village in support of the raffle sales effort and was stolen overnight. The thieves are recorded on the Centre’s CCTV system.
The boat is a white painted 3.8m Anglapro MR384 (see photo) with a blue boat cover. A 9.9HP black Suzuki outboard is fitted, and the boat is on a Dunbier trailer, registered number Y51283.
Anyone sighting the vessel or trailer should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Marine Rescue Central Coast 4325 7929. The volunteers need your help.
The raffle is due to be drawn on Sunday 10 November.
