Fisheries Victoria has launched a new webpage to promote its Angler Diary Program.
For over 10 years, scientists from the Fisheries Victoria Research Branch have been coordinating a volunteer Angler Diary Program to better understand Victorian fish stocks.
Anglers involved in this program receive a newsletter every three months informing them on fishery and angler diary program news. Regular columns in the newsletter include stock assessment meetings, angler diary research outcomes and an angler diary profile piece.
Fisheries Victoria says the newsletter has had a great response from anglers and ensures that volunteers get the feedback they require.
Now anglers can view past and future newsletters through the new Angler Diary webpage at www.dpi.vic.gov.au/fisheries.
