WHAT’S the weirdest catch you’ve ever made, or been a witness to?
While we’ve previously run a “weird lures” related comp on the Fisho site, a blog currently running on US fly fishing website moldychum.com, Brick of the Month, inspired us to get a similar thing up and running in the lead up to the silly season.
As seen in the accompanying pic, a gamefisher displays a hard fighting slab of tightly packed marijuana caught during a tournament. Apparently, the package weighed between 15-20lbs and was no doubt released unharmed (possibly after verifying substance authenticity).

Fisho’s Dean Butler sent in these pics of a pile of “GTs” encountered somewhere off Panama. This Central American version of the species apparently fought like bricks…
