THE entries keep coming in for our new Win a WAECO Ice Box Photo comp.
While we’ve recently seen a stack of jumping marlin images thanks to a bumper billfish season along the east coast, we thought this one was a little out of the ordinary.
Sent in by Mick Jones, the photo is of an around 700lb black marlin hooked off Cairns.
As Mick describes, “it was a rough day and captured the fish just as it was ‘sitting’ on top of a wave. Hope you find it is a bit unique and a special shot as I have.”
