THE winter tuna season along the East Coast is in full swing as Fishing World’s Jim Harnwell reported earlier this week.
Last Saturday the crew on board the Fisho Bar Crusher enjoyed a memorable session on southern bluefin tuna wide of Jervis Bay on the South Coast. Jim reported that other trailer boats in the area also got amongst the SBT as well as some quality yellowfin and albacore.
While offshore anglers on the NSW coast celebrate the arrival of the winter tuna run, longliner vessels have also been out in force targeting the migrating schools.
