IT’S a known fact that sportsfish eat baitfish and if you want to catch those fish then you’d better have a darned good baitfish imitating lure.
The new Zerek Flash Minnow encompasses all the elements that a good lure has including a lifelike appearance and a flexible action to mimic a fish swimming.
The key fish-attracting element of any good lure is the flash – predatory fish see that panicked flash as the trigger to strike; get that flash right and you are just about all the way there.
The new Zerek Flash Minnow has an inbuilt flash inside the lure. This is slotted into a hollow section in the plastic, so it can crinkle and flash, sending out those beams of reflected light that scream “come and eat me” to every fish in the area.
The makers say the plastic itself is incredibly stretchy and durable – designed tough to stand up to those toothy pelagic species yet supple enough to fool the wiliest of brown trout. They can be stretched to over double their length with no ill effect.
Zerek Flash Minnows have a straight tail to impart a very tight shimmer-style action – perfect for fast retrieves.
They can be rigged weedless with the supplied specially-weighted offset worm hook or with a conventional jig head.
Available in seven different colours to match every situation in fresh and salt water, and in 70mm, 90mm, 110mm and 130mm to suit every school bait found this side of the continental shelf as well as fresh water.
