THE National 4×4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo will feature a multitude of special guests and industry experts when it returns to the Brisbane Showgrounds from 31st March-2nd April.
The event will showcase thousands of fishing, boating, camping, 4×4 and outdoors products, with exciting celebrities from the marine and outdoors industries attending the Show over the three jam-packed days.
Returning to the Show in 2017 will be one of the most renowned faces of recreational fishing and host of TV’s iFish, Paul Worsteling. Paul will be on the new Catch & Cook Stage throughout the event, with his unrivalled passion and enthusiasm for fishing.
Joining Paul will be fishing star Steve “Starlo” Starling from The Offroad Adventure Show offering truckloads of angling and touring experience and knowledge of the outdoors lifestyle. The stage will also feature local Channel 7 weather man and fishing enthusiast Paul Burt, along with Nigel Webster from AFN Fishing & Outdoors performing both a fishing and cooking segment, and Dazza, Kazza and Big Red from My Fishing Place – new to the Show in 2017.
Ex-AFL legend and host of The Great Australian Doorstep, Peter “Spida” Everitt, will host the Catch & Cook Stage. With his love of the great outdoors, Spida will tell you his best tales from the outback and teach you how to cook some fantastic campfire dishes.
Jase Andrews and Simon Anderson from All 4 Adventure will feature on the Waeco CFX Outback Stage, sharing their best tips and tricks for a successful 4WD Adventure. Jase, along with Simon, have a love for the undiscovered regions of Australia, and are persistent and fearless when heading out into the wild. Listen to some of their stories from the track and take away some invaluable advice for your next adventure.
Also joining the line-up of special guests will be 4WD legend and outback camping expert John “Roothy” Rooth, along with Rick & Jamie from the Offroad Adventure Show and Graham & Shaun from 4WD Action.
To round out the special guest appearances on stage throughout the event, Waeco will be hosting ex-cricketing legend and fishing enthusiast Merv Hughes, who will be appearing on the Waeco CFX Outback Stage on Saturday 1st April. Visitors to the Show should be sure to schedule in time to hear Merv’s famous yarns.
Sponsor of the Show’s Proving Ground, Eagers Holden, will bring along ambassadors Supercars drivers Craig Lowndes, Shane Van Gisbergen and Jamie Whincup, and Rugby League stars Petero Civoniceva and Trevor Gillmeister. Each of Eagers Holden’s special guests will be available for autographs and photographs at the event.
