10 years of Innovision and going strong

INNOVISION Boats, an award-winning NZ aluminium trailer boat business was founded in 2013 by ex-professional sailor and marine electrician Simon Minoprio. Innovision’s design difference is very noticeable to other brands in Australasia. From Simon’s extensive sailing background and marine electrician and boat building experience with Alloy Yachts – super yacht builder, he has partnered with Bakewell-White Naval architects to develop a truly unique hull design for the Australasia trailer boat market.

The most distinctive design feature of the Innovision Boats is the plumb bow which provides longer waterline length for finer entry, reduced pitching and slamming and overall enhanced ride performance. The plumb bow also provides greater internal volume, v-berth and cabin space and extra waterline at transom for added stability at rest.

“It’s been a busy few years, we experienced rapid growth requiring a shift to a larger premise and a scale up in team, but I’m really happy that we are now in a position to export direct to Australia as we have been receiving a growing number of enquiries”, Minoprio said.

Innovision offers a range of aluminium trailer boat base designs from hard top, centre console, walk arounds and a soft top sports model. The team then thrive on collaborating with the customer, modifying and adding exactly what the customer needs to meet their boating requirements. Whether this is substantial customisation involving design work with naval architect Bakewell-White Yacht Design, custom upholstery or fit out based on an extensive specification list.

The boats are built to last, CPC rated and come with a 10-year hull warranty valid in Australia and transferrable for the duration of the warranty. Innovision also offers a 6-month workmanship warranty.
