Cannon says all four new models feature a design that lets you pull your lines back in with less cranking effort, meaning the quicker you can retrieve your lines, the quicker you can get back to catching fish.
Secondly you can now get controlled and accurate bait positioning thanks to the One-Hand Clutch Deploy on all Cannon Manual Downriggers. It’s designed to gradually and precisely lower your weight and lure into the strike zone.
These new models are more aligned with the 2012 Electric Downriggers, including a standard base, rod holder and boom roller end.
Improvements on all new Manual Downriggers include: one hand deploy/clutch control; ergonomic soft-touch crank handle; dual axis rod holders; and two times stronger frame/lighter weight.
