GME releases bluetooth enabled AM/FM marine radio

GME has released the GR300BT Marine AM/FM Stereo with Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity – a IPx7 Stereo head unit designed with versatility in mind.

When simplicity and performance are expected, the new GME GR300BT marine stereo is the entertainment unit of choice, according to its makers. A powerful, yet compact AM/FM radio with Bluetooth® audio streaming that can be paired with any smart phone, tablet or compatible device. Access any of your favourite tunes on the water and be truly impressed with the audio clarity and minimal distortion, even in windy and noisy ocean conditions.

The radio has been designed with the same stylish GME marine white and grey colour scheme, consistent with the recently launched range of radio communication products – the GX400 and GX700. The unified design and colour scheme ensures GME radio communications and entertainment products blend seamlessly into a boat dash. The radio footprint is consistent with previous models so an upgrade is as easy as pulling out the old and pushing in the new.

Built to withstand the harsh marine environment, the GR300BT chassis is waterproof to the IPx7 standard – submersible to 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. The unit is UV stabilised to maintain the high-gloss pearly white or satin black finish ensuring lasting performance.

The stereo features a large backlit LCD display, making it easy to read on-screen information, even on a bright sunny day, yet the compact depth design enables mounting in limited space. Using either the included gimbal mounting bracket or an optional flush mounting kit, the flexibility and size of the GR300 will suit vessels where there is insufficient space to install a conventional marine entertainment system.
