SUZUKI Marine’s recently-released DF150AP/DF175AP outboards have been given a top marine industry honour, beingnamed one of 2017’s “Top Products” by marine publication, Boating Industry.
The 4-stroke outboard motors, released in October 2016, were one of 50 marine products to be selected by the US magazine and the third Suzuki products to be selected overall.
Now in its forth year, the list names 50 of the best new or updated products released to the market which have significantly contributed to the marine industry and are selected from a range of marine products including boats, outboards and accessories.
Featuring a number of innovative and industry-leading technologies, the compact and lightweight DF150AP/DF175AP are equipped with a 2.9 litre “Big Block” in-line 4-cylinder DOHC engine and boast the largest displacement in their respective classes (2,867cm3).
They also deliver exceptional acceleration and low end torque, thanks to their 10.2:1 compression ratio, with the stand out feature of these outboards (and all AP models) being Suzuki’s Selective Rotation meaning vessels fitted with two or more motors can be configured for either regular or counter-clockwise operation.
