THE Savage Gear 3D rat imitation is so radical Savage Gear reckon it just had to be named the Rad! It’s loaded with features and the detail is lifelike with the 3D scanned detail set to fool wary fish. It features a hard, ultra-strong ABS body and nylon mesh joint with soft ears, feet and tail.
You can attach the 3D Rad on the lip and fish it on the surface, like a rat swimming with a rolling S-curve action and a big wake out the back. Or, attach the lure at the nose point and it will dive down and swim realistically under the surface. The lure is buoyant so a start stop retrieve will see it constantly breaching the surface, which is a great way to provoke big strikes.
The large size of the 3D Rad means it can be fished through weedy and snaggy areas with a stinger and treble hook clipped on the back. The tail is reinforced with a braid core and clips on to the body with an innovative and smart clip design – that makes it easily changeable.
