SHIMANO has launched its Zodias Travel Rod range at the recent AFTA tackle show.
Designed with a carbon monocoque grip, the Zodias Travel Rods offer a higher level of sensitivity that, Shimano says, surpasses traditional fishing rods. This technology allows anglers to feel even the most subtle strike, enhancing their ability to detect bites and improve their overall catch rate.
One of the standout features of the Zodias Travel Rods is the High Power X, which boasts a reinforced structure to suppress any unwanted twisting in the blank during casting and fighting. By utilising carbon tape in an X-shaped pattern, the rod maintains its intended bend and maximises the performance of the blanks.
In addition, the Zodias Travel Rods incorporate the CI4+_RD technology, an evolution of Shimano’s unique CI4 material, reinforced by carbon fibre. This material provides strength while reducing the weight of the rod. Anglers can now carry their high-performance fishing gear effortlessly, no matter the time or place, thanks to the remarkable portability of the Zodias Travel Rods.
The butt section, an outstanding feature of the Zodias Travel Rods, offers a comfortable and secure grip, allowing anglers to maintain control during intense fishing battles.
