THE Sunset Sunfight SW6506 surf reel is designed and developed in Japan by RYOBI, delivering what its makers claim is a quality reel.
This reel incorporates high grade stainless steel components (bearings, screws and main axis), offering durability in saltwater, whilst the EVA handle allows an effective grip during violent combats.
The reel also uses double sealed stainless-steel ball bearings, US made carbon washers and delivers an impressive drag power in excess of 10 kg.
The reel has a line capacity of 300m of 0.30mm, enough for long casts and effective fights and a gear ratio of 5.0:1.
