The second rod we’ve been testing is the 1002M, a slightly longer and heavier 10′ rod with a Med-heavy action, PE 2-5 and cast weight of 30-90 grams.

Both rods have been ideal for flicking metal lures at salmon and tailor of the beaches. Their light and responsive and easy to cast. The lighter rod was matched with a SW 4000 Stradic and the heavier rod with a SW 5000 Stradic.
