A new locally produced sportfishing DVD looks to have captured the essence of an epic “boy’s own” road trip/fishing adventure. Produced and filmed by Sydney based Band Of Brothers Productions, Reef Ambition- Great Barrier Reef In a Trailer Boat, involves a six man crew towing a 24-foot trailer boat from Sydney to Cooktown with the main aim being the filming of the catch and release of a giant black marlin.
The latest release from Band Of Brothers Productions pairing Dennis Minuti and Anthony Raco features footage of marlin, massive GTs, coral trout, Spanish mackerel and a host of other hard fighting species that can be encountered out on the Great Barrier Reef. Judging by the trailer anyone with ambitions of doing a similar journey are sure to find the footage inspiring. The DVD features a rocking soundtrack and segments on bait rigging, mapping, terminal tackle, popping, gear and more.
