IF you live in Queensland or NSW and reckon you’re a pretty good angler you might want to check out a unique new online fishing competition.
The brainchild of a couple of keen fishos, www.qldsbestangler.com, was established in January this year and sets out to find QLD’s and NSW’s best overall anglers over a 12 month financial period. Along the way entrants are in the running to win cash prizes every month. The major tournament winner is awarded from the highest points total of 11 target species over a financial year period, with each cm being awarded 1 point.
Membership on the site is free although anglers wishing to compete in the tournaments have to pay a $20 fee – all money paid by members and sponsors is redirected back into funding the site and comp prizes.
