Being a new rod brand to Australia, Azusa may not be well known to local fishos, but that is set to change.
Azusa says its rods feature a unique design that sets them apart from the competition.
Custom fitted butt – Azusa has realised that physical frames differ. Some people have shorter or longer arms than others. Azusa’s offshore rod models are available with a butt in various lengths, in order to tailor the handle to suit individual user’s body.
Rubberised natural cork grips on Azusa offshore rods are claimed to be as hard and light as natural cork, yet far less slippery and extremely strong against weathering and abrasion.
Woven graphite blanks – Azusa says the amazing power and exceptional strength of its blanks come from the additional hoop strength of the woven graphite. All blanks are individually tested before shipping from the factory.
Azusa rods are built with quality proven Fuji components. Fine and limp braid line is prone to tangle around the rod on a windy day, but thanks to Fuji’s K-guides, featuring forward leaning SIC rings in conjunction with delicately curved frames, line tangles are a thing of the past. All Azusa spin rod models feature the tangle free K-guide.
After years of collaboration between fishing pros and the rod designer, there are 32 different Azusa rods to cover all fishing needs.
