FOLLOWING the success of Fishers for Fish Habitat Forums in NSW in 2009 and 2010, a 2011 Forum has been set down for May.
Funded through Industry and Investment NSW and the NSW Recreational Fishing Trusts rec fishos from across NSW are invited to attend the 2011 event, which for the first time will be hosted by a regional country centre west of the range.
The date: Friday 20 – Saturday 21 May 2011 (plus an optional 3rd day on Sunday 22 May for the inaugural Tamworth Carp Muster hosted by Namoi CMA).
The venue: The Pavilion, Nemingha, Tamworth NSW.
The program: The free two-day Forum will include formal presentations, poster sessions, interactive discussions and a field trip to check out habitat issues and local rehabilitation projects on the Peel River. More details about speakers and presentations will be provided as they are confirmed.
