DAIWA says its Seajigger series has been one of the manufacturer’s most popular surf and rock series of rods.
This highly specialised series of saltwater spinning rods has been designed specifically to cast lures all day without angler fatigue. The rods are designed to be super light courtesy of a HSD (high structural density) graphite blank overlaid with a graphite weave for strength, light weight and high responsiveness.
The minimal design features ultra thin EVA X shrink wrapped butt section for blank protection, minimalist EVA fore and rear grip and a Daiwa “Seabass” reel seat with locking ring to secure your reel. The Fuji alconite K guides provide superb tangle free casting ability, all day long.
The Seajigger range features three different models from the light 325L model designed to fish 4–8 kg line, It’s perfect for a 3000 size reel and spinning lures or casting soft plastics for salmon, tailor and small pelagics, but also the perfect rod for beach, pier or estuary fishing with baits for bream, whiting, flathead, trevally and more.
The SJ325M is the mid range model, that’s perfectly balanced with a 4000 sized reel and spooled with 6–9 kg line you can cast all day for a large range of fish species including salmon, tailor, mulloway, medium sized pelagics and snapper.
The SJ325H is the heavy model in the range. It’s best balanced with a 4500 sized reel loaded with up to 30lb line and is made to cast big metals, poppers, plastics and heavy live baits with ease for big fighting fish like kingfish, groper, mulloway and drummer.
