DANGEROUS rock fishing and boating conditions have been forescast for Friday and Saturday along the NSW coast.
Seas of 6 metres plus swell of 4 metres are expected for Friday October 12, and seas of 5 metres plus swell of 4 metres are expected for most of the coast on Saturday October 13 – the Byron coast is not expected to be affected as severely.
A low pressure system will deepen off the NSW south coast during Thursday, move north and deepen further Thursday night/Friday morning before moving away to the east later Friday, although seas conditions will persist into the weekend. Gale force to storm force winds will occur.
This will cause dangerous rockfishing and boating conditions. Don’t take unnecessary risks – there will always be another day to fish in better weather!
