FOR NSW voters still uncertain of who they’re voting for at this weekend’s state election, Fisho has the lowdown on the recreational fishing policies (or lack of) of the various parties.
Regular readers will know Fisho recently interviewed the Coalition’s Shadow Fisheries Minister Duncan Gay, who expressed some policies and views that are sure to please many of the state’s anglers. For more details the Duncan Gay interview can be read HERE.
While Fisho had also contacted all of the major parties for information on their fishing policies only the Coalition, and Shooters & Fishers Party responded. At the time of writing we are still to receive formal responses from Labor and The Greens.
Along the same line, the Action Anglers Group had approached the state’s major political parties with a list of questions that directly relate to the future of recreational fishing in NSW. Courtesy of AAG President Phillip Ingram, Fisho has reprinted all of those responses below for you to study.

We hope this information will help you in making an informed choice at the voting booth this coming Saturday.
