NATIVE Lures is up for sale and it could be the perfect business for you to forge your own path and be your own boss in the fishing industry.
Native Lures is now very well established in the Central West of NSW as a lure manufacturing business with an established and strong customer base. Owner Rod Price is selling everything he uses to make his lures and all the lures he currently has on hand. This includes all moulds and equipment for making soft plastics, heating and melting equipment for making lead lures, the website, payment system, domain name, email and newsletter system.
Native Lures are currently sold through four main avenues:
1. The website www.nativelures.com, which hosts a custom built online shop and secure payment system. Rod has sent lures to every state on the mainland.
2. Local tackle stores, with the main customer being The Fishing Factory in Orange.
3. At the monthly Dubbo Riverside Markets.
4. The annual IWRA Burrendong Classic Fishing Competition.
Between these, Rod says he sells a high number of lures each year and turns a tidy profit. He says that, beyond this, there is lots of growth potential, it just needs someone to put a bit more time into it.
After more than 20 years making and selling fishing lures in one form or another, Rod says that he has made lifelong friendships through his business and is proud to have been able to help out so many fishos over the years. He just don’t have the time to keep up anymore.
A full itemised list with prices is provided below. Rod is not splitting things up, and doesn’t want to sell individual pieces.
If you’re interested in buying Native Lures, please contact Rod through his Facebook page. You can also check out the website HERE.
