Habitat Action Grants open in NSW

Got an idea for improving fish habitat in NSW?  You have until September 18 to get you application in for a Habitat Action Grant.

THE annual Habitat Action Grants are open once again for projects that improve fish habitat in NSW including fencing, weeding and replanting native vegetation along waterways, putting back instream habitat (resnagging), managing erosion, or fixing up fish passage barriers.

The program is an excellent example of how recreational fishing fees are helping to support a productive fishery in NSW. So get your thinking caps on and see the DPI Fisheries website for details.

What's your reaction?
