In May 2011 Australian company Larva Lures released its range of the world’s first patented trolling lures. The lures were in development for almost a decade and trialled and tested by top charter boat skippers from Australia, Vanuatu, Samoa and Hawaii.
Team Larva made an impact on the tournament scene with a 2nd Place Champion Team performance in the prestigious Bruce Lynton & Cabo Yachts Gold Coast Blue Marlin Classic and 2nd Place Champion Team in the Grand Hotel & Casino Vanuatu Blue Marlin Classic.
Larva’s new and patented Rapid Interchangeable lure system allows you to change lure heads in less than 5 seconds without twisting, screwing and complicated leader and skirt changes. All Larva Interchangeable lure heads are enhanced by the revolutionary, precision engineered, patented ‘S’ curve channel combined with a disjointed head which is claimed to create a bubble trail like no other.
Larva Lures are available in two ultimate set packs with a total of four interchangeable lure heads, consisting of a Jet Head and Flat Head or a Cup Head and Sliced Head. there are also 10 awesome colour combinations and lure sizes: 6.5″, 9.5″, 12″, 15″ and 17″ (lure/teaser).
