Developed by the world’s No.1 ranked angler and Mustad USA pro-staffer, Kevin VanDam, the KVD Grip-Pin is a special offset worm hook designed to hold soft plastic baits more securely, thanks to a unique integrated gripper at the top of the shank.
The KVD Grip-Pin launched in Australia is an improved version, with the welded pin on the original hook being replaced by a smaller and more compact gripper.
The versatile no-slip, no-slide design allows soft plastics to be rigged easily and enhances presentation. The hook design incorporates an extra wide gap and a precise point-to-eye angle for more hook-ups.
The KVD Grip-Pin (ref: 38101NP-BN) is available in sizes 2/0 to 6/0 and features a smooth black nickel finish to enhance penetration. It is ideally suited to many soft plastic fishing applications in Australia, including the rapidly growing soft plastics barra fishery, as well as snapper, mulloway and kingfish.
