AS part of the Recreational Fishing Industry Development Strategy, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation have provided funding for a National Recreational Fishing Conference in 2012.
The conference is a joint venture between Recfish Australia and the Australian Fishing Trade Association. Five free individual registrations for the conference are to be given away. To be eligible to win all you have to do is spend afew minutes completing the pre-conference survey to go into the drawfor a free registration.
The organising committee is seeking input from fishos to make this a world class conference. The themes and workshops at the conference will be around the future of recreational fishing in Australia. The planned outcome of the conference is the identification of 3 national projects that will take recreational fishing forward.
