SHIMANO’s Lucanus jig range has been expanded with the addition of four new colours – Sunset Crab, Pink Shrimp, Dungeness Crab and Chartreuse Shrimp.
Available in 60g, 80g, 100g, 150g and 200g weights, every depth from the shallows to deep reef is fully covered. Replacement Dyneema-rigged Owner hooks, skirts and tentacles are also available.
Lucanus jigs look ‘squiddy’ enough to attract a host of predatory fish that feed on cephalopods. Fish your Lucanus jig with a slow wind and the occasional lift, and expect to get a bite anywhere from right on the bottom to mid-water – especially if there’s bait and a couple of interesting arches showing on the sounder.
