THE PowerPot is an on-demand thermoelectric generator that doubles as an outdoor cookset.
In essence, it’s a portable power generator that uses water and heat to make electricity, enabling you to charge batteries for devices like smartphones, lights and handheld GPS units.
Charging through a USB cable for devices with up to 5watts of power, the PowerPot can use gas rings, camping stoves or hot coals from a fire to generate current from the bottom plate conductor through a solid-state voltage regulator.
The PowerPot kit comes with a range of adapters suitable for most devices and also includes a tiny, but very bright, multi-LED light that can be used to check on your cooking.
The connecting cables are of a special heat resistant material, although you should still take care when using it!
