In conjunction with the Broken Bay Game Fishing Club, leading lure specialist and accomplished game fisher Peter Pakula has teamed up with internationally acclaimed rod designer Ian “Barra” Miller to present a free seminar on The Finer Points of Successful Game Fishing. The seminar on Wednesday October 6 is presented by the BBGFC, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2011.
Subjects covered on the seminar evening will include:
- Lure choice and Lure trolling tactics
- Rod & reel set-up and angler training
- Rigging and use of teasers
- Choice of rods
The free seminar commences at 7.30pm at the BBGFC’s trophy room at the Royal Motor Yacht Club, Broken Bay. The first 10 new angling members applying for Associate Membershipof the BBGFC on the night will be admitted for a cost of $145, representing a savingof $75 on the joining fee, and new junior members (age 8 to 16) may join for a cost of $20, a saving of $22. Free membership kits will be available from 6.15pm as well and a $15special dinner will be served in the RMYC’s courtyard bistro from 6pm.
All new members joining on the evening will also enter a draw and one lucky current member will receive new free membership valued at $220.
