THE Bureau of Meteorology is again forecasting dangerous rock fishing conditions for this weekend along the NSW coastline.
Large swells are predicted for the coast with the possibility of combined waves and swell of up to 4 metres occurring in some areas. These conditions are potentially extremely dangerous for rock fishing and boating activities.
If you are planning to fish the rocks this weekend please follow these safety precautions:
- Choose a safe spot
- Don’t fish alone
- Make sure you have non-slip shoes
- Wear a life jacket
- NEVER turn your back on the sea.
