WHAT a great event with even better results! Young Guns Michael Gauci and Lachlan Latham of team Just Chip’s absolutely blitzed the field with a monster bag of 5.56kg, the biggest bag of the season so far which included the Austackle Boating Big Bream a 1.61kg beast.
Jason Mayberry & Terry Parmenter of Team Shimano/Compleat Angler Batemans Bay took out second with a great bag of 4.35kg which on anyother day could have easily won it. Gary Brown and David Tosland from Team AFN / Tosland Building took out third with 4.02kg. The 13 Fishing / Zip Baits team of Michael Colotouros and Paul Mazaroli took out 4th with 3.92kg. Troy Parsons and Ryan Jamieson of team Hunts Marine / Hurricane Lures rounded out the top five with 3.7kg.
And if that news wasn’t enough for you, yet another young gun THIRTEEN YEAR OLD Rookie, Cullen Dimattina of Team Hunter Watersports took out the Kayak Division with a bag of 2.010kg. Simon Morley of team 13 Fishing / Totally Immersed Watersports took out second with 1.68kg and third place was tied between Joshua Richards of Team Lureholic and Christopher Poppett of team Rosebank Meats Kiama both with 1.660 with Joshua also again taking out the Austackle Big Bream Prize with a 1.03kg fish.
Look out everyone, there is some serious talent coming through the ranks and sponsors, you should be keeping your eyes on all of them!
