THE Melbourne Boat Show is back in 2017, bringing together boating, watercraft and fishing enthusiasts from Victoria and beyond. This four-day event will run from the 16 to 19 June and take place at the leading exhibition venue, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre right in the heart of Melbourne.
Visitors will see a diverse range of premier Australian and international brands from cruisers to tinnies and everything in between. Australian manufacturers will be well represented with popular brands including Bar Crusher, Haines Hunter, Whittley, Northbank, and Spyboats bringing their finest and latest models
Making a show this year is the American Wake Surf Chapparel 257SSK and 227SSK, perfect for surf and wake boarding and sure to impress the whole family. Beneteau boats will be displaying two of its most popular models– the Gran Turismo 40 and the Swift Trawler 30, while Axopar will showcase the latest in cutting edge design with the Axopar 37, 28 and 24.
Major retailers will be at the Show in force, offering hard to miss deals and packages that visitors will find hard to resist.
Together with the massive display of boats and watercraft is the wide range of equipment, accessories, electronics and fishing gear on hand at the Show. And not to forget, one of the most significant aspects of the Melbourne Boat Show is that it’s the place where visitors can talk to experts on a range of topics from the latest products and services, marinas and clubs, technology, safety matters, rules and regulations.
The Melbourne Boat Show is not just a day for the boater or fisherman, but a great day out for the whole family. Exciting on-stage presentations will keep visitors entertained and include seafood cooking demonstrations from much loved celebrity, Paul Mercurio, AFN’s Bill Classon will be demonstrating and talking about all things fishing, popular sports figures Merv Hughes and Patrick Dangerfield talking about sport and fishing, a special Discovery Sailing talk show featuring Nick Bice of Volvo Ocean Race and Jessica Watson from Deckee.com, youngest individual to solo circumnavigate the southern hemisphere and the Stars of Wakeboarding featuring Jacinta Carroll, World Jump Champion.
