Okuma’s Solterra range of overhead reels has been expanded to now suit everything from light bottom bashing to heavy game fishing.
The Solterra’s machined aluminium spool and reinforced side plates are designed to provide maximum strength where it’s needed most, while a magnetic drag assist/cast control (featured on the left side plate of sizes 10 and 15 only) allows freespool adjustment making the reels suitable for casting if necessary.
A five bearing system (plus instant anti-reverse on smaller sizes) and large power grip handle polish off what could be one of the greatest additions to the Okuma overhead range. The all new larger models now include Okuma’s Patented T-Bar ergonomic handle design.
The Solterra is now available in sizes 10, 15, 20, 30, 50 and 50W, with or without level wind, and in single or two-speed; one model available in left hand configuration.
