AFTER reaching the halfway mark of the Southern Bream Series (SBS) hosted by the Basin Lure and Fly Anglers Inc, organisers have released healthy stats pointing to the event’s popularity.
The opening four rounds of the SBS have resulted in a total of 91 boating teams and 40 kayak competitors attending the events held at St Georges Basin, Clyde River Batemans Bay, Georges River and Sydney Harbour.
The Southern Bream Series has so far given away the following amount of prize money and prizes:
- Boating Teams Prize Money 1st – 5th $18,915
- Boating Big Bream Prize Money $1,400
- Kayak Prize Money 1st – 3rd $4,570
- Total Prize Money $24,885
- Lucky Draw Prizes $9,110
- Kayak Big Bream Prize Vouchers $1,000
- Total Prizes & Vouchers $10,110
- Grand Total of Cash & Prizes $34,995
