TESTED: Raider HP lures

GOOD quality high speed spinning lures are hard to find these days. I’ve been testing the new Raider HP lure range from Spanyid this year and can’t find fault in these outstanding metal jigs. They cast like bullets and have a great fish attracting action when retrieved at high speed.

I was a big fan of the brass constructed Raider lures and it’s great to see Spanyid has returned to brass lure bodies for the Raider HP range. Quality electro-plating and a range of six fish attracting reflective stickers that don’t come off during fishing ensure a durable lure that will withstand the hard knocks often associated with high speed spinning for pelagics.

The Raider HP lure range is available in five sizes including 7, 30, 40, 60 and 85 gram models. I’ve enjoyed excellent results using the Raider HP range on a wide range of sportfish including tuna, bonito, yellowtail kingfish, tailor and Australian salmon. These lures have also proven a hit with anglers targeting Spanish mackerel on the NSW Mid-North Coast this season.

If you’re into high speed spinning you should give the Raider HP lure range a go, I’m sure you’ll be impressed with the results.
