Time is running out for photo entries in the 2011 freshwater fishing calendar competition. The freshwater fishing calendar is a joint effort between the NSW Freshwater Recreational Fishing Trust and Industry & Investment (I&I) NSW.
“The freshwater fishing calendar is a great resource for thousands of fishers around the state, and is a must for the inland avid angler,” said I&I NSW Fisheries Manager, Sarah Martin.
“The theme of the 2011 calendar is ‘Reel them in’, and will focus on some of the great fish our recreational fishers are catching in NSW inland waters.
The 12 chosen winners will feature in the calendar and have the chance to win some great prizes. The calendars will contain information on NSW bag and size limits of inland fish, as well as key fisheries dates and contacts.
Last year’s competition received over 850 entries, and the winners hailed from all over NSW, as well as Victoria and South Australia.
To enter visit www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries, follow the link to the freshwater fishing photo competition, and upload your photo. For more info phone (02) 6051 7703.
