THE Batemans Bay Game Fishing Club, along with Shimano and other sponsors, is staging the 2011 Yellowfin Tournament on the June long weekend.
The BBGFC’s President and committee invites visiting anglers and all club members to compete in the event at Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast.
Tournament dates are June 11 and 12, with registration for competing boats and anglers to be held on Friday June 10 at the Catalina Country Club from 5.30pm, followed by a tournament briefing at 7.30pm.
Entrants will compete for prizes of Shimano game outfits in the following categories: Capture – yellowfin tuna (heaviest/heaviest 10kg or less tackle/Junior heaviest/Smallfry heaviest/heaviest other gamefish)
Tag & Release – Most yellowfin tagged (Team/Senior/Junior/Smallfry); Highest point score – Other gamefish (Open/Junior/Smallfry)
