VIC fishos have their say at fishing forums

Victoria’s rec fishos are having their say at a series of Roundtable Forums currently being held in regional locations across the state.

The forums are designed to provide a great opportunity for recreational fishers and Fisheries Victoria staff to exchange ideas, identify and consider key issues and identify information gaps relevant to recreational fishing.

Fisheries Victoria says it understands that consultation with the broader recreational fishing community is crucial for the effective management of our fisheries resources. These forums also provide a unique opportunity to build effective working relationships.

Fishos are invited to have their say on issues that directly affect them such as how their Recreational Fishing Licence funds are spent and future ways to improve recreational fishing in Victoria.
