VIDEO: Alarming by-catch dumped at Port Stephens

THIS worrying video has emerged of dead by-catch allegedly left behind at Jimmys Beach by professional fishers at Port Stephens, NSW, during the Christmas holidays. The video was filmed and posted by Matt Lawrence on Facebook. It’s worth noting it is not illegal for professional fishers to do this, although points strongly to the need for rec fishing licence money to be used to buy out more commercial operators.
