World class lures

WORLD Stage lures are the result of a partnership between Shimano Japan and Shimano Australia. With Aussie fishos in mind these exciting lures have been designed to attractive anything from flathead to barra.

Derived from Japanese sea bass lures, the design has been “Australianised” to a large extent with 3X VMC rings and trebles and a host of exciting colours with a holographic finish suited to Australian conditions and fish species.

There are four styles: shallow and deep diving minnows in the Silent Assassins and Deep Assassins, a sub-surface plug, the Goliath, and a stick bait, the Fortuna. All four make use of Japanese long cast technology, so you can cast them out of sight.

They’re also swim tested, meaning they’re good to go straight out of the box.

The Silent Assassins and Deep Assassins come in two sizes — 100 and 120 millimetres — and dive to 60 centimetres and between 1.2 and 1.8 metres respectively. The Goliath comes in 95 and 125 millimetre sizes and gets down 30 to 60 centimetres, while the Fortuna is available in 75 and 90 millimetre sizes and does its best work darting about on top.
